Emiliano Torre gives an invited talk at Università degli Studi di Torino titled "Modeling high-dimensional system inputs with copulas for uncertainty quantification problems".

After 4 years at the Chair, Chu Mai defended his PhD on September 28^th, 2016.  

Bruno Sudret gives a keynote lecture at SAMO 2016.

Bruno Sudret  gave a talk entitled “Surrogate models for uncertain  dynamical systems: polynomial chaos expansions for time-dependent  responses” at the 4^th DAM Forum on Uncertainty Quantification Methods organized by CEA, the French Agency for Nuclear Energy (France).  

Chu Mai defended his PhD entitled „Polynomial chaos expansions for uncertain dynamical systems – Applications in earthquake engineering”.

Bruno Sudret has given lectures on “Uncertainty propagation using polynomial chaos expansions” and “The uncertainty quantification platform UQLab” at the GRK1462 Summer School on Uncertainty in Modeling.

Stefano Marelli participated to the SIAM Annual Meeting 2016 in  Boston with a talk on "Fast Deployment of Surrogate Modelling-Based  Uncertainty Quantification Techniques Using UQLab"

Bruno Sudret gives an invited lecture at UMEMA’2016 (Uncertainty Modelling for ElectroMagnetic Applications) in Paris, France.

Bruno Sudret gives an invited seminar entitled “Surrogate models for uncertainty propagation and sensitivity analysis” at the “Fédération Francilienne de Mécanique” in Paris, France. 

The Chair co-organizes a mini-symposium on "Non intrusive surrogate models for uncertainty quantification in high dimensions" at the 2016 ECCOMAS Congress. 

Bruno Sudret gave a plenary lecture at the EMI/PMC 2016.

Maliki Moustapha received his PhD on “Adaptive surrogate models for the reliable lightweight design of automotive body structures” from the Université Blaise Pascal, Clermont-Ferrand (France) on January 27, 2016. Prof. Bruno Sudret was co-supervisor of this research.

The SIAM conference on Uncertainty Quantification is organized in Lausanne on April 5-8, 2016.

Bruno Sudret becomes a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Smart Cities.
