The Chair of Risk, Safety and Uncertainty Quantification opens two PhD positions
Restarting research on stochastic emulators

The Chair of Risk, Safety and Uncertainty quantification opens two PhD positions fully funded for 4 years, as part of the ORACLES project ("Optimization, Reliability And CaLibration using Emulators of Stochastic computational models") recently funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
The two PhD positions are:
- Reliability-Based Design Optimization using Stochastic Emulators (details here)
- Hierarchical Bayesian Inference using Stochastic Emulators (details here)
Applications are only accepted through the ETH Portal (links above).
