Humboldt Research Award

Bruno Sudret has been honored with the Humboldt Research Award from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. As part of this recognition, he was invited to attend the 2025 Symposium for Research Award Winners, held in Bamberg, Germany, from March 27 to 30.

The symposium featured high-level scientific lectures delivered by four of the awardees and provided valuable insights into the Foundation’s mission and programs. It also offered a rich platform for networking with Foundation staff and other distinguished researchers from around the world.

One of the highlights of the event was the official award ceremony on Friday evening. The symposium concluded with a guided visit to the historic city center of Bamberg, offering participants a memorable cultural experience to round off the scientific exchanges.

The Humboldt Research Award recognizes internationally renowned scientists whose work has had a lasting impact on their disciplines and who are expected to continue producing cutting-edge achievements in collaboration with colleagues in Germany.
