Krzysztof Wołoszyk visits the RSUQ chair
Krzysztof Wołoszyk, Assistant Professor at Gdańsk University of Technology, joins the Chair RSUQ for a five-month research stay from February to June 2025.
Krzysztof holds a PhD in mechanical engineering from Gdańsk University of Technology and specializes in the ultimate strength and reliability of structures exposed to ageing phenomena, particularly corrosion in ships and offshore structures. His research involves numerical simulations, probabilistic modeling, and the development of risk-based frameworks.
During his stay at RSUQ, Krzysztof will work on integrating surrogate-modeling approaches for uncertainty quantification and reliability analysis of the ultimate strength of ageing engineering structures.
