Chiara Nardin joins the RSUQ Chair as a visiting Postdoctoral Researcher
Chiara Nardin, a structural engineer and postdoctoral fellow at the University of Trento, joins the RSUQ Chair as part of her MSCA Global Postdoctoral Fellowship.
Chiara obtained her PhD in Modelling and Simulation from the University of Trento in 2022, focusing on seismic experimental analyses and surrogate modeling of multi-component systems in industrial facilities. Her research interests include risk analysis and fragility assessment of critical infrastructures under severe seismic events. She has actively contributed to the EU SERA Project SPIF, conducting shaking table tests on industrial facilities.
During her collaboration with RSUQ, Chiara will work on developing analytical and numerical methods for evaluating seismic state-dependent fragility functions in special-risk industrial systems.
