Nora Lüthen gives a lecture on simulation-based risk analysis at ZHAW
The lecture was part of the CAS "Risikoanalytik und Risiko-Assessment" of the ZHAW Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaften.
The lecture focused on the question of how computational models can help to compute the probabilities needed for risk analysis. Topics covered were the principles and limitations of computational models, the probabilistic modelling of input parameters, an introduction to Monte Carlo simulation, and a software demonstration.
