The MASCOT-NUM conference took place at the Côte d'Azur in Hyères, offering picturesque seaside views and sunny weather. Over three well-organized days, participants delved into state-of-the-art research in sensitivity analysis, linear and non-linear optimization, inverse problems, statistical modeling, and uncertainty quantification.

MASCOT-NUM offers a unique platform where emerging researchers, including Ph.D. students, can closely interact with established scholars and professors. The conference features keynote talks from leading experts as well as presentations and a dedicated poster session for Ph.D. students, encouraging in-depth discussions among participants. It also provides these academics with opportunities to stay informed about new research developments and establish cooperative relationships.

At the poster session, Styfen presented his ongoing Ph.D. work on "An Automated Surrogate Modelling Approach for the Uncertainty Quantification of Dynamical Systems," which he conducts under the supervision of Bruno Sudret and Stefano Marelli.
