New paper published in Reliability Engineering & System Safety

A former visiting scholar of the Chair (H. M. Kroetz) recently published a paper in collaboration with M. Moustapha, A.T. Beck and B. Sudret on reliability-based optimization problems in a life-cycle cost setting.

The paper A Two-Level Kriging-Based Approach with Active Learning for Solving Time-Variant Risk Optimization Problems efficiently combines expected global optimization (EGO) and efficient global reliability analysis (EGRA) in a nested loops scheme. The publication is available external pagehere and can be accessed as an internal report here.
