The members of the Chair of Risk, Safety and Uncertainty Quantification carry out research projects in the field of uncertainty quantification for engineering problems with applications in structural reliability, sensitivity analysis of computer models, surrogate modeling, model calibration and reliability-based design optimization.
Methodological projects are mainly developed by the scientific staff of the Chair. Collaborative projects are carried out in many different fields of application with other research groups within or outside ETH. New case studies always help assessing the robustness of our existing methodologies and related UQLab tools, and sometimes offer new challenging questions. If you are interested in collaborating on a case study, please contact Prof. Bruno Sudret per .
